Pay it forward: How do you contribute to the society?

"Take an idea and put it into ACTION"

What does it mean to pay it forward :

A little help can make a big difference. That is why the action of paying it forward was made. One can give in their best effort even if it is all that they've got. The aim is to be aware of our surroundings and offer a little act of kindness. If everyone begins to take action, there would be less issues in this world and the people would all come together as one. Some might not react well to the deeds of the ones who are trying but at least they will be aware of it. This movement may not be a world success but to have it going for as long as it can is a big achievement.

How do I pay it forward :

For me to pay it forward is by going to as much as community service as I can and help the ones in need. Sometimes I go to the ones that are not affiliated with school such as running races for a cause because it benefits both myself as a runner and the organization. I can also do my share of paying it forward by lending a hand to anyone in need without thinking twice about it because I know that my help -no matter how small or big it is- can affect the person's day or life.

My History, My Africa

Group Name: My History, My Africa
Slogan/ Motto: “What's Your Story?”

Group Members:
Leader – Naledi Sekgapane
Organizer – Eilif Ronning
Communicator – Alexa Atherly
Budget – Cecilia
Media and Tech – Aina Farid
Worker – Ines Juster

Strengths and Weaknesses of the Group:
Our group is strong together because we all have the same interest which makes us easier to get along. We also have a variety of members who are good at what  they do in the different roles they're part of. Unfortunately, it is also a disadvantage for us because we can easily get distracted.

When I helped:
As an official member of the group, I contribute as much as I can to make the work in the group flow easily with no problems whatsoever. When a dilemma does comes up, I try as hard as I can to fix it.

When I was helped:
My fellow colleagues are very helpful to each other and we always land a hand to the ones in need. Every time I am struggling with my work, I would always ask them for some assistance and they will surely support me until I am used to my work.
